There are a lot of misconceptions about divorce and how to file for Divorce. One I deal with all the time is the belief that your spouse must agree to the divorce, must sign divorce papers before or at the time of filing.
This is all simply not true. In Florida, you just need to be a resident of the state for 6 months and want to get divorced. Your spouse’s permission, agreement, or consent is not required. So what if your
A lot of people solicit advice from friends, research on the internet, and otherwise, become misinformed about the divorce process. The filing of the divorce case is actually quite simple. If you want to get divorced in Florida, just file the divorce action.
